We're Lizzy and Steph, the sisters behind Piccola Arte. in 2017, we teamed up as piccola arte to collaborate on creating art and fostering human connection.
It has been a whopping seven years of pure laughter, inspiration, and love with Piccola Arte, and we're not slowing down. In fact, we're cranking up the joy dial!

the origins of the piccola look
In our early days, Piccola Arte artists Steph & Lizzy meticulously painted every single card by hand on their favorite watercolor artist paper. To morph the paper into a standard card size, we simply ripped. we also painstakingly hand-stamped each envelope as a nod to the classic wax seals.
Piccola Arte still features hand painted watercolor designs and that signature hand ripped edge, and our envelopes still boast a our brushstroke logo.

A Name with Meaning
When we were brainstorming names for our company, we wanted something that truly encapsulated the essence of what we stand for.
in honor of our Sicilian lineage and translating as “little art” from Italian, “Piccola Arte” is the name we chose to reflect our belief in the power of small, meaningful moments. we believe in the power of connecting over the little things—the piccola things.
